About
Patrick Rizzotti is a scenic designer working in theatre, television, and virtual/augmented reality. He has a strong interest in new works and highly collaborative projects that explore how space is used to enhance an experience.

Patrick has received the USITT Scenic Design Award, is a winner of the OPERA America Director-Designer Showcase, and is an alumnus of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab. Patrick has presented his work internationally and his designs appear in several notable theatrical design books. He sits on the USITT International Committee and has chaired or been a panelist on sessions including: collaboration between designers/shops, the challenges of creating sight specific theatre, careers beyond the theatre.
He currently, splits time between Vancouver Canada, where he is an Associate Professor of Scenic and Production Design at University of British Columbia, and New York City where he maintain an active design practice.
