UBC Film Society, Cinephile, and the Centre for Cinema Studies, presents the Inaugural UBC Cinephile Undergraduate Student Conference!
This is a great opportunity to see what a conference looks like, especially if you are considering pursing graduate studies, or looking to improve your CV as you enter the professional world. Come and workshop ideas, expand your network, and gather knowledge!
The conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th 2024, at the Performance Theatre in the Nest from 10 am – 4 pm. Along with the undergraduate presentations, a keynotes speaker, Yani Kong, will join at 3pm to discuss small file films. Coffee and snack will be provided.
After the conference, a screening of France (2021) will be held in the Norm Theatre at 6 pm.
