Rui Zhang is a 4th year PhD student in Theatre Studies. His research interests include Asian Canadian theatre, Asian American theatre, race, ethnicity, and diaspora studies. Before graduating with a MA in theatre history from Illinois State University, Rui got his bachelor’s degree in translation and interpreting from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
