Linda Pitt develops, manages, and implements communications and marketing strategies for the Department of Theatre and Film. She promotes faculty and student achievements and research, department events, and theatrical productions through a range of channels such as the department website, social media channels, media relations, and digital and physical signage and advertising.

Linda is a passionate arts marketer and communicator, who has spent her career championing the performing arts. She has worked with some of the most exciting arts organizations in Vancouver, including Studio 58 at Langara College, The Arts Club Theatre Company, and Pi Theatre. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Simon Fraser University, as well as a Masters in International Arts Management from Southern Methodist University and HEC Montreal. When she’s not working, Linda enjoys reading fiction, learning Spanish, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the company of friends and family (both human and canine).
