Kirsten Dougans assists the Department Head with essential administrative tasks such as scheduling, faculty processes such as tenure and promotion and search committees, and coordinating departmental committees. She also provides administrative support to the BFA Acting application process.

With a BASc in Civil Engineering from UBC, Kirsten’s transition to the arts was driven by a healthy combination of curiosity and fearlessness. She brings her love of organization, meticulous tracking, and spreadsheet mastery to enrich this creative department. When not at work, you can find Kirsten curled up with a book, tending to her veggie garden, or hiking with her husband.
