Kayla McIntyre (she/they) is an MA Student in Theatre Studies, who additionally received their BA from UBC in Theatre Studies as well. They are interested in gaming as a site of performance and gender and sexuality studies. Kayla’s current research is focused on understanding the role gender and sexuality play in RPG performance and how does that reflect the player’s identity. More so, Kayla has worked as a director and is a recipient of SSHRC funding for their MA research.
