Emily Dotson (BA in Theater, Cleveland State University, U.S.A.)

Emily began as a studio art student in Cleveland, Ohio focusing in fine art painting, drawing, and printmaking and became a notable and award-winning artist. She continued her studies in Paris, France, and returned to the States inspired to apply her background of fine arts into the larger scaled world of theater and film. She has worked as an artisan and costumer for films in Cleveland and as a set designer for equity and non-equity theaters in many cities across the U.S. Most notably, she has recently completed her scenic painting internship with the Seattle Repertory Theater.
