More great news for MFA Production student Andrew Pollins. His dramatic short film about an Alzheimer’s patient Backward Fall earned the ShortWork Student Award at the recent Whistler Film Festival. The jury praised the film for “the lead actor’s transformation from grief to acceptance while caring for his wife with Alzheimer’s disease was both poignant and heart wrenching.”
