RUMBLE’S FESTIVAL OF EMERGING TALENT FEATURES UBC ACTORS AND DIRECTORS!

Rumble Theatre’s Tremors Festival of Emerging Talent runs August 11-20 and features alumni and present students:
Stephen Drover – Artistic Director, Laura McLean – Director, “Dry Land”, Libby Willow – actor, “Dry Land”, Mariam Barry – actor, “Dry Land”, Jenna Mairs – actor, “Dry Land”, Sachi Nisbet – actor, “Dry Land”, Jamie King – Director, “Bull”, Sophie Tang – lighting design, “Better Angels”, and Mentors: Lois Anderson and Sarah Rodgers.
In 2007, Rumble created the Tremors Festival, originally a two-week run of plays created by emerging companies. In 2014 we devised a new model for Tremors that focused on providing mentorship to individual emerging artists rather than emerging companies.
Tremors is now a vehicle for emerging artists to build networks, receive professional mentorship, develop their craft and work on exciting plays. Each show will be directed, designed and performed by a company of emerging artists working with the guidance of professional mentors. Rumble provides discipline-specific mentorship from professional theatre practitioners to all participants.
