THE EDITOR
It is a satire of the Italian giallo Genre, described as a horror comedy film. The Editor follows the story of a man once revered as the greatest editor of all time, until an editing accident reduced him to a ridiculed amputee. When his co-workers are murdered one after another, the editor is the prime suspect! Has he lost control of his psycho-sexual subconscious like a modern day Dr. Jekyll or Wolfman? Not even he knows for sure!
West Coast Screenings are available at the Vancouver International Film Festival, at midnight September 27 at the Rio or 4 pm September 28 at Vancity Cinemas.
The Editor is one of first films produced through TeleFilm’s new Micro-Budget program and it is Kennedy’s thesis project. He is part of the infamous Winnipeg based Astron-6 film collective (Manborg, Father’s Day).
