Associate Professor (Film Production) Igor Drljaca’s short film The Archivists was recently selected by the prestigious Vimeo Staff Picks curated channel. Staff Picks are chosen by the curation team at Vimeo with the goal of celebrating the best films on the platform and making them available to watch internationally.
The Archivists takes place in a dystopian future and follows a trio of musicians who discover a degraded vinyl record and attempt to reimagine one of its songs. The film premiered at TIFF in 2020. It was picked up by CBC for Canadian broadcasting and is currently being developed into a long-form project.
