How The Little Old Man came to be:

“When I was working on my MFA in Directing 2007 to 2009, one of the projects was to direct an outside project. I chose to direct The Little Old Man and present it at the Vancouver International Children’s Festival in 2009. Stephen Malloy was my Advisor for this project and with his help, the production received rave reviews and went on to perform at several local festivals in BC: the Surrey International Children’s Festival, Winterruption on Granville Island, Spring Break Theatre Festival, as well short runs at Nanaimo’s TheatreONE, Evergreen Theatre and The Shadbolt Centre for the Performing Arts. This production will make it 10 years since it was first written and developed through Theatre Bagger Arts Society.” – Chris McGregor
