ACTOR/PRODUCER CYNTHIA BRAVO WINS BEST FEATURE AT THE PASADENA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.

Cynthia Bravo is an award winner producer/director/actor with a genuine passion for the entertainment industry and the art of filmmaking. Cofounding Glix for the Arts with her husband, Cinematographer Gonzalo Digenio, Glix fulfills her mandate of building a non profit organization that provides guidance, support and resources to help filmmakers showcase their talent, vision and style. Glix Entertainment is a full service, independent production company that strives to create the highest quality video content from conception to completion, creating original, compelling and unique stories, that entertain and engage audiences.
Cynthia took two years of UBC BFA Acting (2010, 2011) after receiving a marketing degree from ITESM Queretaro, Mexico, and then transferred to an MFA Acting for Film at NYFA at Universal Studios, California and then a Producing Certificate from UCLA, Los Angeles, California.
About her time in the BFA in Acting at UBC Cynthia says, “I have nothing but wonderful memories of my time at UBC. All the instructors were fantastic, they are highly experienced and they really care for you. When you join UBC, you become part of a family that looks out for each other’s backs, creating a safe environment to explore, and you grow not only as an actor, but also as a human being. I am forever grateful to UBC, my instructors and classmates for contributing to my education and personal growth.”
In less than a year, Cynthia Bravo has successfully produced over 20 independent projects including the award winning feature film “The Last Night Inn” directed by John Heath; and collaborating in the production of the feature film “Actor for Hire” directed by Marcus Mizelle, and the feature film “The Broken Legacy” directed by Miguel Garzon. Cynthia Bravo has also produced numerous short films, corporate videos, and commercials. Her Directing portfolio includes the short films “Bristol Place” and “A conversation with him”.
Cynthia Bravo is currently producing the feature film “Hide in the Light” directed by Mikey McGregor. Her projects under development include the horror feature film “The House on Franklin” to be Directed by Edrei Hutson (financing phase); horror feature film “Spirits” (financing phase), and the teen comedy feature film “A little bit of magic” to be directed by Bexultan Nurgali (financing phase).
