For the 33rd annual Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards, 33 UBC Theatre alumni have been nominated for their Outstanding work in the 2014-15 season:

Large Theatre:

  • Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role – Nicola Cavendish (4,000 Miles, Arts Club Theatre)
  • Performance by and Actress in a Supporting Role – Luisa Jojic (The Tempest, Bard on the Beach)
  • Lighting Design – Lauchlin Johnston (The Whipping Man, Pacific Theatre)
  • Set Design – Marshall McMahen (Crazy for You, Gateway Theatre)
  • Costume Design – Carmen Alatorre (Crazy for You, Gateway Theatre)
  • Sound Design – Scott Zechner (Late Company, Touchstone Theatre)
  • Direction – Barb Tomasic (Crazy for You, Gateway Theatre)

Outstanding Original Script, The Georgia Straight Critic’s Choice Innovation Award:

  • Dave Deveau (Celestial Being, Green Thumb Theatre)
