Announcing: 2014/15 UBC Theatre & Film Research Seminar Series ~ Begins Sept 18!
At our Research Seminar Series you’ll enjoy UBC Theatre & Film Studies students presenting research-in-progress. We’ll also have professors, visiting scholars and colleagues from other schools presenting their work. Most meetings will have two speakers, who will have twenty minutes to speak, with time for questions and discussion afterwards.
Speakers will not necessarily be limited to traditional, conference-style papers. Proposals for alternative presentations are gladly accepted.
We are thrilled to be opening the series with Theatre Studies doctoral student Yanting Qui. Yanting will be presenting a paper that she gave at this past summer’s Asian Studies on the Pacific Coast (ASPAC) conference at Western Washington University
