The Design and Production program, within the Department of Theatre and Film, is pleased to advertise openings for the 8 instructional months (September 2022 to April 2023) of the upcoming academic session, 2022W. The Design and Production program offers first to fourth year courses leading to Major, BFA and Minor degree options.
Preference will be given to applicants with a strong professional track record in the professional world and experience in teaching at the college or university level. An excellent teaching record based on relevant experience in theatre and film design and production. In your cover letter, you should indicate the range of courses that you are able to teach. You may provide sample syllabi.
We expect to fill the following courses:
- THTR 250-001 Technical Production (Term 1)
- THTR 307-001 Lighting Design I (Term 2)
- THTR 299/399/399L Lighting Supervision (Term 2)

Applicants should include with their letter of application:
- curriculum vita (detailing any post-secondary teaching experience)
- evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g.: sample teaching evaluations)
- names and contact emails of three referees

All positions are subject to availability of funds. The minimum salary for 2022W will be $7200.00 per 3-credit course.
