Along with his wife, Laura Katz, one of our MFA Theatre Design and Production candidates, they received full VIP Access at the Cannes International Film Festival this year. They had one of their films in the programming before (Swiss/American film Resilience got in the Short Film Corner in 2017 (trailer: www.vimeo.com/gabrielgaland/resiliencetrailer) but this was their first time walking up the stairs to attend the premiere of Jim Jarmusch’s new film.
