 e Buffalo Gone? </span></i><span data-contrast="none">follows two souls thr
 ough seven different periods of Métis history. Filled with stories about th
 e Sun Traveller and the Callihoo family\, the production involves a life-li
 ke buffalo puppet. Inspired by historical events\, this original play for y
 oung audiences explores the loves\, the losses and the fight of Treaty 6’s 
 Métis people—and their love and kinship to the buffalo. </span><span data-c

 </span></p><p><span data-contrast="none">The play takes audiences through t
 he emergence of the Métis Nation across the plains\, then leads into the ro
 bust colonization that arises from the fur trade\, the disappearance of the
  buffalo\, as well as the political uprising of the Métis Association of Al
 berta in the 1930s. The story starts in creation among the stars and ends i
