 screening of Miryam Charles' debut feature film\, <em>This House (Cette Mai
 son)</em>\, which recently premiered as part of the 2022 Berlinale Forum pr
 ogram. There will be a live Q&A with Miryam after the screening.</p><p>This

 n]</p><p>Miryam Charles is a director\, writer\, producer and cinematograph
 er born in Haiti and currently living in Montreal. Her work explores themes
  related to exile and the legacies of colonization.</p><p>Her films have be
 en presented at various festivals in Québec\, as well as internationally. M
 iryam recently completed the direction of her first feature film\, <i>Cette
  Maison (This</i><em> House</em>)\, which was presented as part of the <a h
 ref="https://www.berlinale.de/en/news-topics/news/detail_121160.html">2022 
 Berlinale <i>Forum</i></a> program. Her current projects include the featur
 e film <i>Le Marabout</i> and the short film “Au crépuscule (At Dusk)”.</p>
