JOHN NEWTON, Emeritus Professor (BA Poli Sci, University of Santa Clara 1961, an MA Poli Sci, University of California, Berkeley 1963, MA Film, San Francisco State College 1969), is a former AFI Intern with the American feature director Richard Donner, he has produced a wide variety of award winning educational and television films over the last twenty-five years. His most recent work includes the television drama BLUE’S FOLLY, produced for CBC and the University production Piano Con Amoré, now purchased by CBC.
